Peter Tan
Peter Tan has been an educator for 40 years with 24 of these as Principal of ACS (Junior), ACS (Barker Road) and Queensway Secondary School.
He started the ACS (Junior) Fathers Prayer Group in 2001, which later grew into fathers prayer groups in all the ACS schools. This sparked the formation of Elijah7000, that is a national prayer call for fathers. He, together with other parents, started Praying Parents Unite, a prayer movement for Christian parents in schools to pray for their children’s school.
In 2010, REVIVE was initiated as a student-led prayer call for Christian students to pray for their schools held at ACS (BR), an it was catalytic in the formation of Praying Schools and Poly Revival, which are student-led movements to pray for their peers in the institutions they study in. Peter continues to journey with young people and Christian parents prayer groups to encourage their faith and passion for Christ. He is also a council member of Elijah7000.
